Commitment to Action

Turning Garbage into Renewable Energy & Economic Development

Commitment by

Navitus Sustainable Industries

In 2013, Navitus Sustainable Industries committed to building three waste to energy facilities over the next two years. Through this commitment, Navitus will partner with local communities to provide sustainable solutions to both clean energy generation and local waste management. By 2015, it is projected that these facilities will be generating enough electricity to power nearly 100,000 homes, diverted nearly 1,000,000 tons of garbage from landfills, and created 300 green jobs. Through this commitment, Navitus will demonstrate the efficacy of its fully integrated system as a model for global sustainable development.
