Francesco Sedita is the publisher of Grosset & Dunlap, Price Stern Sloan, and Frederick Warne, where he focuses on creating quality, affordable books for children ages 0-12.  He is fortunate to publish authors like Ann Hood, Andrew Keenan-Bolger, Kate Wetherhead, Giada De Laurentiis, Henry Winkler, and Emma Thompson.  He also oversees licensed publishing, which includes Strawberry Shortcake, Skylanders, and the incomparable Cartoon Network.

After receiving his MFA in writing from New York University’s Gallatin School he began his career in the publicity department of Alfred A. Knopf. From there he moved to Scholastic, where he became Creative Director to the trade division. During this time, he developed and oversaw the campaign for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, which broke every sales record in the industry.

Francesco has worked with the 826NYC and has created interstitials for NBC Saturday Morning, Telemundo and Qubo, aimed at helping children discover the joys of reading.
