Commitment to Action

A Class of Their Own: Empowering a Startup Ecosystem

Commitment by

Hult International Business School

In 2015, Hult International Business Schools committed to fund the Hult Prize Foundation's expansion of its start-up challenge to create an action-based entrepreneurship program and Master of Entrepreneurship Program in the Middle East. In support of its entrepreneurship program, Hult will define country-specific challenges and recruit the top two entrepreneurs from 24 countries within the region to spend one calendar year creating an enterprise that can sustainably solve the pressing challenges. Selected participants will be awarded a full-scholarship to the accelerated incubator style master program, where they will be coached, mentored, and taught by world-class entrepreneurs. Upon conclusion of the program, graduates will have commercialized their disruptive start-up enterprises, while simultaneously achieving a master’s degree. In doing so, the Hult Prize aims to stimulate a new era of entrepreneurs, who have both the academic qualifications and real world experience to have long lasting impact on the region.
