GENERAL INFORMATION. The sponsor of the Meet the Clintons to the Clinton Foundation Gala in New York City (“Sweepstakes”) is the Clinton Foundation (“Foundation”), 1633 Broadway, New York, NY 10019. The Sweepstakes will begin on May 7, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. Eastern time (“ET”), and will end on May 17, 2018 at 11:59 p.m. ET (“Sweepstakes Period”). The Foundation reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to shorten or extend the Sweepstakes Period at any time. Odds of being selected as a winner depend upon number of eligible entries received.

ELIGIBILITY. Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the continental United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older as of the start of the Sweepstakes Period.

To enter without making a contribution, click here. Alternatively, you may mail a 3” x 5” postcard with your name, address, email address (if you have one) and telephone number to “Meet the Clintons to the Clinton Foundation Gala in New York City” 1633 Broadway, New York, NY 10019. Entries must be received (including those that are mailed) by May 17, 2018 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern time, and the drawing will be held on or about the week of May 17, 2018 in the Foundation’s office. Limit one entry per person, regardless of method.

WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION. On or about the week of May 17, 2018, the potential Winner (as defined below) will be selected at random via a computer program from all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. The Foundation will make two (2) attempts to notify the potential Winner via the phone number and/or email address provided at the time of entry. If potential Winner cannot be reached, the Foundation will select another entrant at random.

After a potential Winner is selected, s/he and one (1) guest selected by potential Winner (who must be a legal resident of the continental United States and the District of Columbia 18 years of age or older as of the start of the Sweepstakes Period, “Guest”) will be required to execute and return within seven (7) days an affidavit or declaration of liability, a liability release, and a security clearance form for the United States Secret Service, which potential Winner and Guest must pass.  The Foundation reserves the right to conduct background checks on the potential Winner and Guest, as a condition of eligibility and as a condition to being confirmed as the Winner and Guest. Potential Winner and Guest must first submit to such background check and cooperate with the Foundation in any way that the Foundation requests in order to be eligible to receive the Prize. The potential Winner and Guest may also be required to provide the Foundation with a valid social security number or tax identification number before the Prize will be awarded for background check and tax purposes.

If potential Winner and/or Guest fail to meet any of the above requirements for any reason, do not pass a background check or receive security clearance, or if potential Winner and/or Guest are found ineligible, cannot or do not comply with these Official Rules, or if awarding the Prize to such Winner and/or Guest may reflect negatively on the Foundation, or President Clinton  (as determined in the Foundation’s sole discretion), the Foundation reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify the potential Winner and/or Guest and another entrant will be selected at random by the Foundation.

PRIZE. There will be one (1) prize (“Prize”) awarded to the entrant chosen at random and who otherwise complies with these Official Rules (“Winner”). Prize will consist of the following for Winner and Guest: coach-class round trip airfare within the United States to New York City, hotel accommodations for two nights, and the opportunity attend the Clinton Foundation Gala on May 24, 2018 as VIP guests. The approximate retail value of this opportunity is $3,000, but the actual value will vary depending on exact travel arrangements and specific events, which shall be determined at the sole discretion of the Foundation. No substitution or cash alternative is available to Winner and Guest.  All taxes on the receipt and use of the Prize are the sole responsibility of the Winner.

The Foundation is not responsible if the Gala is postponed or cancelled for any reason, in whole or in part, or if the Winner cannot be confirmed with sufficient time to attend the Gala. Winner may not have an opportunity to meet President Clinton. In such event, the Winner will receive the remainder of the prize with no compensation paid in lieu of the event portion of the Prize. Trip does not include meals, transfers, ground transportation, gratuities or any other expenses not specifically listed herein. Travel and accommodations subject to availability; certain restrictions may apply. If Winner cannot travel on specified dates, Prize will be forfeited and the Prize may be awarded to an alternate.

The remedy for any claim shall be limited to actual damages, and in no event shall any party be entitled to recover punitive, exemplary, consequential, or incidental damages, including attorney’s fees or other such related costs of bringing a claim, or to rescind this agreement or seek injunctive or any other equitable relief.
