On Sunday, January 24, and Monday, January 25, President Bill Clinton hosted the Clinton Health Matters Initiative’s fifth annual Health Matters Summit, a yearly convening of leaders from a variety of health fields, to identify strategies for systemic health improvement and ways to implement those strategies. Key themes at the 2016 Health Matters Summit included communities as centers of health innovation, the quest for longevity and healthy aging, health-tech innovation, and addressing health disparities through entrepreneurship. The Health Matters Summit brought together leaders working in healthcare, technology, business, education, sports, and government. The event followed the CareerBuilder Challenge, a PGA TOUR event held January 21–24 in La Quinta, California, in partnership with the Clinton Foundation.
