The Clinton Health Matters Initiative (CHMI) is working strategically to improve the health and well-being of all people by activating leading institutions in multiple sectors, such as business, philanthropy, agriculture, education, nonprofit, and faith communities, to make systemic changes that improve the health of their constituents and community members.

We focus on building strategic partnerships to advance systemic and programmatic solutions that address the social determinants of health. The partnerships are long-term engagements that focus on the development and implementation of scalable solutions. Ultimately, our goal is to develop a portfolio of strategic partners that are fully aligned with the tenets of the social determinants of health model. We work with these strategic partners on a multi-year basis to implement business practice changes and best practice recommendations within their organizations and across the broader community. We work with thought leaders and experts to build a best practice framework that outlines specific actions that entities across sectors can take as a basis for each portfolio.
