The CGI community offers support for Sudan 

Reflecting on the one-year anniversary of the humanitarian crisis in Sudan, CGI convened leaders from across sectors to highlight humanitarian response efforts — and offer ways for individuals and organizations to help. Read more. 

Secretary Clinton heading to Bulgaria to advance women’s empowerment

East Wing Magazine covers Secretary Clinton’s upcoming trip to Bulgaria, where the Clinton Global Initiative will host a special convening on women’s advancement. Held in partnership with Kiril Domuschiev and Domuschiev Impact, the event is set to draw public and private sectors leaders, including President Vjosa Osmani and Cherie Blair. Read more. 

Inside Philanthropy covers the W.K. Kellogg Foundation’s work in Haiti 

Active in Haiti since 1940, the W.K. Kellogg Foundation is tackling systemic public health problems in the country through its Pockets of Hope campaign. At CGI 2023, the W.K. Kellogg Foundation committed to providing $90 million to the campaign and scaling collaborative, Haiti-led programs with proven track records of success. Read more. 

CGI at the 2024 Milken Institute Global Conference

Speaking on a panel on democracy and public diplomacy, Clinton Foundation CEO Kevin Thurm reflected on the importance of creating a more inclusive, expansive approach to democracy that benefits everyone, and the CGI community’s role. Watch the panel here.

Founder and CEO Lydiah Kemunto Bosire launched 8B to help African students fulfill their study abroad dreams through fair and flexible loans. At CGI 2022, 8B, in partnership with World Resources Institute (Africa), committed to using blended finance to enable access to world class universities for African students in disciplines relevant to the new climate economy.
