FREE Juneteenth Admission and Activities
On Sunday, June 21, the Clinton Presidential Center will continue the Juneteenth celebration with FREE museum admission, sponsored by Platinum Drywall, and a special performance by the Golden Saints Choir of St. Mark Baptist Church.
From 1 – 5 p.m., visitors can explore the museum, including our special exhibit, “Making Amends,” all free of charge.
At 2 p.m., the Clinton Center will host “Harmonizing in Arkansas: Spirituals,” celebrating traditional spirituals composed between 1619 and 1865. The free program will feature a presentation by Dr. Bryan Pierce, Chief Curator of the National Museum of African American Music, and a performance by the Golden Saints Choir of St. Mark Baptist Church of Little Rock. This event is presented in partnership with Humanities Arkansas with program support from the Federation of State Humanities Councils.
Additionally, 42 bar and table will feature Juneteenth-themed lunch specials on Friday, June 19, and brunch specials on Saturday, June 20, and Sunday, June 21. Reservations can be made at 42barandtable.org. Clinton Center Members receive a discount at the restaurant.
