Press Release: President Clinton Thanks Presidential Center Volunteers

Hundreds of Clinton Foundation volunteers received a personal “thank you” from President Clinton Monday night at an event in the Scholars Garden at the Clinton Center in downtown Little Rock.

President Clinton held a Volunteer appreciation reception to honor over 500 volunteers who give of their time to help with the day to day operations of the Clinton Center. Skip Rutherford, Chairman of the Clinton Foundation Board of Directors, David Alsobrook, Director of the Clinton Presidential Library and Senator David Pryor, Dean of the

Clinton School of Public Service were all on hand to thank the crowd.

In addition, Director of Volunteer and Visitor Services, Lena Moore, announced that the volunteers have collectively contributed almost 20,000 hours of service in the five months since the Center has opened. After addressing the crowd, President Clinton took time to speak individually with many of the volunteers.
