New York, NY – President Bill Clinton and Chelsea Clinton will host the 2015 Winter Meeting on February 10 in New York City, marking the 10th year of the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI). CGI’s first meeting of the year will bring together leaders from government, non-profit, and corporate sectors to set the framework for 2015, a milestone year that will include an expansion of CGI’s successful commitments model into new geographies such as the Middle East and Africa in May and the Mediterranean in June.

At the Winter Meeting, Chelsea Clinton will announce the theme for the 2015 CGI Annual Meeting, which will guide members in the development of their commitments as they prepare for the 11th Annual Meeting in September.

President Clinton will moderate a panel with Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka, executive director of UN Women, Jacqueline Novogratz, founder and CEO of Acumen, Paul Polman, CEO of Unilever; and Randi Weingarten, president of American Federation of Teachers, exploring strategies to address global challenges.

The panel will be preceded by the announcements of new Commitments to Action, including one announced by Paul Polman, Jacqueline Novogratz, and Frank Giustra, founder of the Clinton Giustra Enterprise Partnership.
