Media Advisory: Clinton Center Hosts Bridge to the Future Festival
The Clinton Presidential Center will host the 2nd annual Bridge to the Future Festival, on Saturday, May 2. A partnership between the Clinton Foundation, Arkansas Children’s Hospital, HIPPY Arkansas, Reading Is Fundamental and many other local organizations, the Bridge to the Future Festival is a fun-filled FREE community festival. Discover ways to better prepare kids for school and life, and have fun while doing it!
“The Bridge to the Future Festival is a one-of-a-kind community event that is educational and informative for both children and adults,” said Stephanie S. Streett, executive director of the Clinton Foundation. “It’s an opportunity for entire families, school groups, and community organizations to come together and learn more about preparing children for the future.”
Bridge to the Future features:

Hundreds of children and parents from the HIPPY Arkansas program

A farmers market with an interactive planting station for kids

5,000 free books provided by Reading is Fundamental

Story time with local authors

A lively physical activity with the Alliance for a Healthier Generation

Safety demonstrations for parents and care takers

Photo opportunities with C-Rex, the Clinton Presidential Center’s dinosaur mascot

Six different educational-themed villages for children to visit. Each child who visits all six villages will have their name entered in the grand prize drawing.

10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
For planning purposes, the HIPPY Arkansas Kids Parade begins at 10 a.m. followed by a short program and the opening of the villages.
