We invite you to submit high-resolution photos and videos that showcase your commitment. Our team may feature select multimedia in social media posts, blogs, event materials, and more. Please use the evergreen link below at any time throughout your commitment’s lifetime to share your media materials.
Social Media
We also encourage you to post on social media about your commitment, participation in the CGI Annual Meeting, and experience as a member of the CGI community. See our social media toolkit for ideas and resources.
Media relations support
All new commitment announcements will be referenced in press materials distributed by the CGI press team. We will also help you raise awareness about your commitment and support you in engaging with the media before and during the meeting.
Storytelling Workshop
Every year, CGI provides a storytelling workshop event, to help attendees implement narrative devices and techniques to tell a meaningful and memorable story about their Commitment to Action and their organization’s work and impact when networking at the CGI 2026 Annual Meeting. Please see below for the resources from this year’s workshop. For any questions, please reach out to Lindsay Kujawa, Deputy Director, Program Design at lkujawa@clintonfoundation.org.
Examples of Commitment Announcements
Throughout the CGI Annual Meeting, select commitment-makers have the opportunity to announce their Commitment to Action on stage. This is a chance for commitment-makers to “tell their story,” and we encourage creativity and narratives that offer a people-first perspective. Browse a few examples from our previous Annual Meetings below.
Hacer Developments
Hacer Developments takes a technical topic – a biophilic living building – and presents it through a person-first narrative, giving the audience a main character to root for as he experiences the benefits of Hacer’s unique living model.
Fairtrade
Fairtrade uses a common experience – unwrapping and eating a chocolate bar – as an extended analogy to describe their work and how their Commitment to Action will be implemented.
MedStar
MedStar hooks the audience with two person-first stories which are then connected to the speaker’s own lived experience and creates a sense of urgency while providing an update on their ongoing Commitment to Action.
TAD Foundation
The TAD Foundation builds empathy and trust with the audience by telling a people-first, interactive story that starts by encouraging listeners to step into a different lived experience than their own and ends with a call to action based on that experience.
Accelerating Circularity
Accelerating Circularity invites the audience in by asking them to use their imagination and uses a personal story that inspired the Commitment to Action to frame the narrative.
eB Capital
eB Capital hooks the audience using specific, descriptive language to describe the landscape that inspires and energizes their investment in climate action, emphasizing promise and potential rather than a pessimistic or fatalistic approach to the problem.
