Top Moments from the CGI 2025 Annual Meeting
In 2005, President Clinton reimagined how the world confronts its most pressing challenges by launching the Clinton Global Initiative — and calling on leaders everywhere to commit to action.
Now in its 20th year, what began as a simple gathering has grown into a global force for change, delivering tangible solutions that have improved the lives of more than 500 million people worldwide.
At the 2025 Annual Meeting on September 24-25, CGI doubled down on action and focused on what’s next. As the global development community faces dire funding cuts and escalating crises, leaders from across sectors once again united through CGI to turn these urgent global challenges into opportunities for impact—forging new commitments, partnerships, and concrete action plans designed to create lasting change.
The work ahead requires each of us to get involved and do our part. Keep scrolling to learn more about this year’s breakthrough moments, major announcements, and opportunities to get engaged.
