President Bill Clinton to Receive Seven Generations Award at City Year's Red Jacket Ball

Join us as we celebrate 10 years of City Year AmeriCorps Members serving in Little Rock schools. We are excited to honor President Bill Clinton with the Seven Generations Award, recognizing his life-long commitment to public service and improving the lives of people around the world. The award is named after an Iroquois proverb that says, “In every deliberation, we must consider the impact of our decisions on the next seven generations.”
This year we will hold the 10th Anniversary Red Jacket Ball presented by Bain Capital Community Partnership on Thursday, June 4, 2015, at the Statehouse Convention Center. Along with President Clinton, past honorees will join us once again as we look back on our achievements and into our future. Previous honorees include:

About City Year: City Year is an education-focused, nonprofit organization founded in 1988 that partners with public schools and teachers to help keep students in school and on track to succeed. In 24 communities across the United States and through two international affiliates, this innovative public-private partnership brings together teams of young AmeriCorps members who commit to a year of full-time service in schools.
