Press Release: Clinton Center Honors its Volunteers


On Thursday, April 20th, the Clinton Center hosted a reception in honor of its volunteers during Volunteer Appreciation Month. With almost 500 active volunteers, the Clinton Center is fortunate to have talented people who volunteer their time to assist visitors and staff.

Since November 18, 2004, the volunteers have contributed almost 60,000 hours to the Clinton Center. Volunteers average over 100 hours of service each year. One volunteer has contributed 982 hours to date.

David Alsobrook, the Director of the Clinton Library and Stephanie Streett, Executive Director of the Clinton Foundation spoke to the group and thanked them for their dedicated service. President Clinton thanked them as well via video message.

Lena Moore who is the Deputy Executive Director of the Clinton Foundation and the Director of Volunteer and Visitors Services was on hand to greet and personally thank each of the volunteers. “The Clinton Center wouldn’t operate without these people and it is important that they know how much we appreciate them.”
