Press Release: President Clinton Visits With the Clinton Foundation Interns

While in Little Rock celebrating the many accomplishments of the young leaders of City Year, President Clinton made time to visit with another group of young leaders, the Clinton Foundation interns. In line with the mission of the Clinton Foundation, a program was established to provide an opportunity to both undergraduate and graduate students to gain and apply practical workplace experience to the many domestic and international initiatives of the Foundation.

Hailing from various areas of the country and the world, Foundation interns in the Little Rock office are gaining exposure to a plethora of once-in-a-lifetime opportunities. Through this program, young men and women have been able to not only learn but contribute to: the operation of a presidential library, establishment of the inaugural class of the Clinton School of Public Service as well as the overall management of a major non-profit organization, just to name a few.

During their time together, both the president and interns were all smiles. President Clinton graciously thanked these young men and women who traveled from near and far to ensure that the great work of the Clinton Foundation continues to improve the world in which we live.
