Statement: Death of Bob Tisch

We are saddened by the death of Bob Tisch. Bob was a force active not only in finance, but also in public service. From his leadership with City Meals on Wheels and Take the Field, to his tenure as Postmaster General, Bob worked for and invested in others. He and his late brother Larry's generosity can be seen in New York and across the country, from New York University, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the children's zoo in Central Park to the Duke University Medical Center and institutions at the University of Michigan and Tufts University. As co-owner of his beloved New York Giants, Bob was a consistent presence around the locker room and seldom missed a game. Bob might have been the owner of the Giants, but in the end, Bob was the true giant. Our thoughts and prayers are with Joan, Steven, Laurie, Jonathan and the entire Tisch family.
