Statement: Death of Representative Mink

Hillary and I were deeply saddened to hear about the death of Representative Patsy Mink. She was a public servant of the highest caliber whose steadfast advocacy of education reform, environmental protection, civil rights and women's rights led to improvements in the quality of life for millions of Americans. Patsy was a dear friend, and we will miss her very much. Our condolences are with John, Gwendolyn, and Eugene Takemoto at this difficult time.
