Statement: Outcome of Bypass Surgery

Former President Bill Clinton underwent bypass surgery this morning at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center. The surgery was successful and the President is resting comfortably.

The President's medical team will conduct a briefing at 4:00 pm today in the lobby of the Milstein Pavilion at 177 Fort Washington Avenue in New York.
