Statement: President Clinton on Northern Ireland

I am elated that this day has finally come. When we started working to assist the Northern Ireland peace process 13 years ago, our intention was to help reconciliation and promote a shared future. I applaud the people of Northern Ireland and their political leaders for this historic achievement.
