Secretary Clinton to announce several new commitments to encourage youth employment, promote early childhood education
NEW YORK, NY – President Bill Clinton, former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, and Clinton Foundation Vice Chair Chelsea Clinton will host the fourth annual Clinton Global Initiative America (CGI America) meeting in Denver, Colorado from June 23 to June 25, 2014. Nearly 1,000 leaders from the business, government, philanthropy, and nonprofit sectors will gather at the working meeting dedicated to promoting economic recovery and the long-term competitiveness of the United States.
Participants will join sessions that will provide them with opportunities to share knowledge, build partnerships, and generate Commitments to Action: new, specific, and measurable plans that address an economic challenge facing the United States. Secretary Clinton will announce a number of new Commitments to Action around her early childhood development and youth employment efforts.
