Since our first Day of Action for New York in November 2012, Chelsea has continued to lead the Day of Action program, which provides a platform where anyone can give back and get involved, and inspires others to come together to make a difference. As global citizens, it's important that we help people live their best life story, and that we take time to give back to our own communities. There are many ways each of one us can make a difference. We all have something to give, whether it's time, money, skills, or ideas – but it's up to us to come together to take action. The Day of Action program identifies meaningful service opportunities for Foundation staff, friends, and partners, and for the broader Foundation community where we can come together and make a small but meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Together we can make a greater impact – more than any individual or group can do on their own.
We all have something to give. Join our Day of Action program to give back to communities where we can make a difference.
In November 2012, in the immediate aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, individuals, companies, and organizations came forward and asked us what they could do that would make a difference in the lives of New Yorkers who were confronting the wreckage from Sandy. In an effort to help the communities where Clinton Foundation staff, friends, and partners work and live – and to channel the outpouring of support we received toward meaningful action – Chelsea Clinton established the Clinton Foundation Day of Action program.
