Join us for a Day of Action in Atlanta

Working together to improve the communities where we work and live
Please confirm your participation at the Clinton Foundation Day of Action on Saturday, June 11 from approximately 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. and provide the additional details requested below.

We will join the City of Atlanta for a Day of Action to promote food access and security throughout the City of Atlanta. We will serve the community at several sites throughout the City including: Atlanta Community Food Bank, Covenant House Georgia, Open Hand Atlanta, Maynard Jackson High School, and Thomasville Recreation Center.

Transportation to the project sites will be provided from Historic Fourth Ward Park (680 Dallas Street Northeast, Atlanta, Georgia 30308). Check-in opens at 7:45 a.m. and the kick-off program will follow at 8:30 a.m. The buses will leave promptly at 9:15 a.m.
We plan on departing project sites at approximately 1:30 p.m. Lunch and water will be provided. We highly suggest that you eat a hearty breakfast and bring snacks and extra water.
Public Transportation (MARTA)

Two bus routes, the #2 and #16 stop near the park. From the North Ave., Edgewood/Candler Park or Decatur train stations, take bus #2 to the corner of Ponce de Leon and Glen Iris. From Five Points, take bus #16 to the corner of Ralph McGill and Glen Iris.

To reach the Historic Fourth Ward Park Amphitheater, walk away from Ponce City Market and cross North Ave.  You will arrive at the park.  Head down the pathway about 150 feet where you will find the Amphitheater.

Street Parking:
Along North Angier Avenue, Morgan Street, Garden Park Drive, Dallas Street and Rankin Street.
