Starting on June 17, Super Summer Saturdays are back by popular demand. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., on Saturdays throughout the summer the Clinton Center will offer free, fun-filled, and educational activities. In conjunction with our current temporary exhibit, Xtreme Bugs, children will learn how to work as a team, just like their favorite bugs do to survive! Children will get the opportunity to participate in a hands-on learning experience with live insects and see firsthand that there are more to bugs than meets the eye. While Super Summer Saturday activites are free, admission fees to tour the permanent and temporary exhibits will still be charged.
Representatives from the Little Rock Zoo will be onsite to show Madagascar hissing cockroaches, stick bugs and tarantulas each Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Participants will create lady bugs and caterpillars with egg cartons, paint, google eyes and pipe cleaners.

About Xtreme BUGS
Xtreme BUGS will bring you up close and personal with larger-than-life animatronic bugs – including a honey bee, a praying mantis, ants, and many more – which will soon be marching, flying, and crawling into the Clinton Center. By exploring why bugs look and behave as they do, visitors of all ages will gain a new perspective on the tiny creatures we often consider pests.
