Detroit Collective Impact - Pathway to Education & Work

Commitment by

Cengage Learning

In 2015, Cengage Learning and its partners committed to mitigate the consequences of chronic high unemployment in Detroit by helping disconnected older youth and adults, who lack a high school education, earn a high school diploma, and develop their career skills. Together, the partners will build awareness and provide the support necessary for students to succeed in the Career Online High School (COHS), such as outreach, tuition assistance, career counseling, and mentoring. The goal is to support 1,350 older youth and adults to earn a high school diploma and workforce certificate.
