In 2015, Share Our Strength, along with its partners, committed to double its Great Nations Eat Campaign in order to raise awareness of food insecurity in the U.S., advance smarter policies, and spur new public private partnerships to ensure that no American struggles with hunger. Expanding the initial phase of the Great Nations Eat Campaign, Share Our Strength will launch a new and scaled up ad campaign, which will secure two billion media impressions in 2016. The campaign will reach every demographic in more than half of the states across the country. Through alliances with media companies across cable, local broadcast TV, radio, online, social media, and out of home media, this campaign will work with celebrity spokespeople and national influencers to implement a new theme for the advertising creative, leveraging donated media encourage the public to participate in a variety of grassroots activities to help end hunger in the U.S.
