Following the devastating hurricanes that tore through the Caribbean region in September 2017, the local leaders of Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Dominica, and Antigua and Barbuda approached President Clinton to help them build back better. In response, the Clinton Foundation is launching a new Post-Disaster Recovery Action Network. Building on CGI’s proven Commitment to Action model, this Action Network will bring together leaders from across sectors to develop new, specific, and measurable plans that will advance the recovery and promote long-term resiliency across the region.

The Action Network will formally launch on April 3, 2018 in Miami, Florida. This invitation-only event is designed to foster action and collaboration among high-level representatives from government, civil society, business, and academia. Participants will learn from leaders in the region about key priorities and needs, workshop current and future efforts in executive sessions, and determine tangible next steps and opportunities for collaboration.
