Since 2001, the Clinton Foundation has worked to improve lives around the world and build upon President Clinton’s legacy of public service.
Lifetime Carbon Neutrality Commitment
In 2010, Lifetime Carbon Neutrality Commitment (LCNC) pledged to minimize the carbon footprint of households and minimize monthly utility bills. The purpose of this initiative is to demonstrate the benefits of lowering emissions. The LCNC's seven commitments facilitate education amongst its members about the simple lifestyle changes that can be implemented to decrease excessive wastefulness in the home. In 2010, the focus of LCNC is to educate group members on the inexpensive changes that households can practice to lower carbon footprint.
Brock Pierce implemented all of LCNC's seven commitments into his lifestyle, including changing all of his light bulbs to compact fluorecscent bulbs, limiting the amount of time he spends in the shower, hang-drying his clothes, and limiting the exterior watering of his home.
